rose bowl and flex scheduling

so it appears that LSU will play in the rose bowl, if reports are accurate. apparently the fact that our fans have already purchased well over 30,000 tickets over a 48 hour period difinitely sat well with the rose bowl committee, so, lets hope this becomes official on sunday afternoon. geaux tigers.

well, i dont know if yall heard, but the saints/cowboys game was "flexed" from its noon kickoff time on fox to nbc's sunday night 7:15 telecast. this sounds cool right? yea, sure it does, but it is also "teh succ" because that same night at 7 o'clock, LSU and texas will be playing in basketball on national tv, so there will be quite a bit of flipping and flopping through teh cablestations to keep up with whats going on. we dont have tivo or that fancy-shmansy split screen thing to where you can watch both things, so we'll do the usual 'switch during the commercial break and halftime' routine.

the LSU men's basketball team rebounded from their sucky-ass performance against wichita state and easily beat mcneese st. 91-57. garrett temple, tasmin mitchell, darnell lazare and ben voogd shot the ball very well, and glen davis was a force as usual. temple and magnum rolle are going to really need to shine this year if LSU wants to get back to the final four.geaux tigers.
