tigers in teh nfl
a couple of shout-outs to three guys who were reppin' in 'teh league' this past weekend for teh purple and gold.
joe addai- 24 carries, 171 yards, 4 touchdowns. al bundy in the house. addai continues to get better and is on his way to becoming "the man." 4 years of running in the toughest league against the toughest defenses really paid off. addai is certainly on his way to becoming a great, great back. all of his touchdown runs were trademark joseph addai runs, running straight, cutting back, and then bouncing to the outside.
devery henderson- 4 catches, 158 yards and a touchdown. a 76 yard td catch and run on the third play from scrimmage for teh saints.his last 3 games, henderson has 16 catches for an amazing 458 yards, three touchdowns and an incredible 27.4 yards per catch. he is emerging as one of the elite deep threats in the league, and drew brees' willingness to spread the ball around, plus the fact that opposing defenses have been keying on joe horn and fantastic rookie marques colston means defenses are going to have their hands full with a speedster like henderson on the field. what a win that was on sunday for the saints!
tory james- james had a tackle, 3 pass defenses, and 2 interceptions in the bengals win over the browns. in his 11th season now, james is still one of the best cover corners in the league and consistently has been near the top of the league in interceptions throughout his career.
