monday updates and shit

kevin donahue at fanblogs is reporting that florida state has indeed agreed to terms with jimbo fisher to become their new offensive coordinator and possible future head coach. it will be nice to ssee jimbo get an opportunity to coach a program like florida state. he is a heck of a coach and will probably make drew weatherford look like drew brees. now that former arizona state coach dirk koetter has been hired by jack del rio to coordinate the jacksonville jaguars offense, the question becomes, who will replace fisher. a couple of guys we'd like to see(our brain cant come up with to many available dudes)

steve sarkisian- interviewing for the oakland raiders job today believe it or not. dude is a hot shot young quarterback oriented coach at usc. kinda reminds me of jimbo

walt harris- just got axed at stanford after two miserable years as the head man, but had a nice thing going at pittsburgh, has a shit load of nfl offensive coaching experience and i believe he worked for parcells, im not to familiar with what kind of offense he would run.

other up and coming young coachhes: major applewhite(former longhorns qb, may be headed to alabama, currently at rice. he was at syracuse last year. it would be interesting to see what he could do with a lot of weapons, something he hasnt had at rice or the 'cuse. oh, and, he's a baton rouge native.)

patrick nix: former auburn qb( barf) looked good this year running chan gailey's offense at georgia tech. like we said we really dont know who is available so we are just throwing out names here.

in other news, jamarcus russell's mother says her son hasnt yet made up his mind and said espn's report was premature. we still say he's gone, especially with this jimbo news, but we'll all find out wednesday at the press conference. still no word on glen dorsey.

oh and in tonights game-

florida 21-17 ohio state
