wow. the new features they added to madden '07 are great. the way you can cut through tackles, rather then juke yourself into your offensive line or blocker is cool. the blocking thing is cool but requires some practice. the fact that the kicking feature is the same as college is pretty gay, and DAAAAAMN they stacked reggie bush. i think to myself all the dweebs who pick the saints, then the first thing they do is pause the game and insert bush ahead of deuce mcallister. DONT DO THAT. deuce is like 50789 times better then bush. seriously, i had to have broken at least 60 tackles with deuce. it takes at least 5 of the other team's defense to bring him down and he always avoids the first hit. then after you pull off a big gain with him, you bring in reggie and throw him a screen. goodbye. its amazing how potent the saints are on offense in this game, especially with those two running backs. the fact that drew brees is my qb now makes me a little over-confident in the passing game, but with receivers like horn, stallworth and henderson, who wouldn't be? HOWEVER, the one thing i didnt like about the game is that it is totally designed for scoring offensive junkies(translation:its impossible to play defense, reminiscent of madden '03 or ncaa football '02)and its not just the saints defense(which by the way, SUCKS. no linebackers.) im the kind of guy who likes to control the MLB and blitz like an insane chicken with my head cut off, but i dont think colby bockwoldt got through the damn offensive line once. the defensive ends are great, the d-tackles are alright, the secondary is ok except they played like shit. and yea, its not just the saints my buddy was the ravens and their D sucked balls too. its fun having those defensive battles, but DAAAAAMN ive never had so much fun as i did yesterday switching between deuce and reggie. its totally a "pick your poison" kind of thing. oh and its easy as f#ck to return kicks. go check it out.
