game notes - i think

well, i was just checking out rolltide.com checking out their game preview thing. and they have mike shula's record against LSU as a player and a coach.woooooooof, its ugly folks. espn's john clayton ugly. shula is a whopping 0-5-1 as in 1 tie. even though we are getting that same feeling as tigersmack, that this game has "choke" written all over it, our heart of hearts tells us that this should be a fairly easy win. make no mistake about it. 'bama should have beaten those lame ass faux "contenders" from arkansas, but for kicking woes. they dominated florida in gainesville for about 2 and a half quarters(the defense, naturally, did most of the dominating) and they nearly beat tennessee in knoxville. but then again, they also barely beat vanderbilt, ole miss, and hawaii(hey, hawaii throws like 987690 times per game so we wont count it) and they let duke hang around way longer then they should have.they also just lost to mississippi state. umm.hopefully john parker jingelheimerschmidt wilson and the offense continue to look like this

but nevertheless, despite our mixed feelings, we think this should be a fairly easy win. you know something along the lines of 27-10, 24-6, 27-13,21-10 that kinda thing. but if bama's gonna win this game, its obviously going to be on the heels of their defense. i just cant see their offense getting much of anything unless our defense has a lou tepper moment. im sure darby will get his share of yardage, and jingelheimerschmidt wilson will scramble for a few yards. keith brown has been dinged up and we all know about prothro so dj hall is really the only effective playmaker downfield. i like that guy simeon castille, the corner. i hope that dude is a saint in a couple of years. this game could definitely start out like the fresno state game in regards to our offense. but, i have a feeling that death valley has been saving something special for this game all season long. tigers win!!

shula's record vs. lsu= espn's john clayton ugly.
