florida RB deshawn wynn may miss saturday's showdown with LSU due to a knee injury.
and teh saints shoulda won today. carney missed a 41 yarder right before halftime, while reggie bush fumbled inside the redzone earlier in the second quarter. grr. better beat tampa next week, they got that rookie qb gradkowski from toledo starting. the schedule gets brutal. they still played very hard today. it was nice to see deuce run over some dude at the goalline for a TouchDown. the defense really only sucked on those last 2 series and teh offense has been doing it. payton has those guys doing good.

Not just that, but "cunningly snatch[ed]"!!!
I can't believe we hung with the Panthers as well as we did. Brees is just such a stable guy to have calling the shots (did you notice his calling Colston off the line of scrimmage before spiking it at the end of the first half? Saved us 5 yards and a 10 second runnoff). He will keep this team competitive. We'd better roll Tampa this week; that'd be much fun.
Our schedule is brutal, but a .500 record is certainly not out of the question - 3 more wins should be expected at the very least: San Fran, Tampa, and we can take teh Panthers at home. Then just two out of @ Tampa, @ Dallas, vs Washington, vs Baltimore...and who knows, if Big Ben continues to play so poorly for the Steelers, we could have a legit shot in that trip too.
